Super nice rooms at prices that are adapted to the room. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and leaves nothing to be desired. Staff super friendly. Rooms are very clean. Always my pleasure.

Super nice area, the pool and sauna area very inviting. Big compliments to the bar and restaurant. The men do a really good job and are super friendly and personable, as is the breakfast staff. But boss's scare screw is really under all hell. It's a shame how you can ruin such a great hotel (rooms in the 80s style could be redesigned) with your own style. Eternal waiting at the reception until she comes to get sloppy answers. The customer is king here. As a guest, I have noticed how she treats her employees and the way they deal with them is a mess. For all the money that a room costs here (street side, loud and warm there is no air conditioning), I prefer to go somewhere else. I will probably be in Friedrichshafen often, but definitely not in this hotel. I just don't want to support this approach!

The guest is ripped off with the widely advertised “inclusive breakfast”, hot drinks are charged extra, and we were not told that by any staff or it was simply nowhere, even a pot of coffee has to be paid for. The cleanliness was partially insufficient, on the wardrobes in a centimeter thick layer of dust and the daily room service is not cleaned properly. An old bottle came out from under the bed far from the junior suite. During the “inclusive breakfast” the boss walked around the room without a mask, but her guests had to appear in gloves and a mask, very unprecedented. At the reception you have to wait 20 minutes until you are served, despite ringing the bell and in the actually occupied reception. The boss was also very unfriendly, reacted stressed and uninterested. The wellness area was very good and lovingly furnished, but the swimming pool closes very early, at 10:00 p.m., if you were still out in the evening it gets pretty tight with a visit to the pool. For the very high prices, the service and cleanliness is insufficient, so a visit is not recommended.

Since August 16, 2020 we have been at the Hotel Gerbe for 7 days and nights and would like to thank the Knobel family and their team for the excellent accommodation and care. A very well-kept hotel with a very friendly atmosphere and the best cuisine. Thank you very much !

..... For many, many years we are in the tanning with our tennis group .... Now we have been clearly signaled that we are no longer welcome .... This is not how you deal with regular guests 👎

I was there for a seminar and the food was awesome, I especially appreciated the Apfelschorle. The room was also nice.

Wanted to book an event for 20 people ... on site. I waited 30 minutes at the reception. I was seen and said: a moment please and then nobody came. They weren't really friendly either. Then I wrote 2 emails for an appointment request and never got an answer. Conclusion: they are not interested in meetings.

Short menu, but very good food and german wines list

Very good hotel, friendly staff, food very tasty. The 3-day stay here was very good. The bus stop can be reached in 2 minutes. 20 minutes by bus and you are in Friedrichshafen city harbor.

Very nice rooms, spacious, adjustable beds, bathroom with shower. Separate toilet. There is a fridge in the room. Tasty breakfast. Nice service.

Beautiful hotel with great garden area. In the bright room with very nice amenities and super comfortable beds makes you feel immediately comfortable and arrive. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Also at the reception we were given additional tips for our excursions. The breakfast room makes hearts beat faster, very large selection of tea, different regional sausage and cheese specialties, to really good bread - just not the standard. You do not want to stop eating ;-) The hotel is also a restaurant, we had a 3-course menu and were very excited! One can only recommend. We will come back !!!

Great hotel on Lake Constance. Inn, hotel with beautiful spa and pool area and the associated park have a relaxed atmosphere of tradition and simple modern. The adjoining Peters Restaurant serves fresh, local produce in great dishes. Worthwhile stay for tourists and business travelers.

I have been to many places in the country, but this hotel is one of the best, all my appreciation, the owner, beautiful, demanding designs, cozy enough spacious rooms, and the wellness department to satisfy every need, 3 kinds of saunas, indoor pool, relaxation room, shower , dressing room, everything you need for a good rest, nice service at the restaurant, information about food, and some majestic creations on our table, I can recommend that if you are in town and you need a hotel, choose this, not the cheapest but the best!

Here the guest is really king. A hotel out of a picture book. Rooms to feel good, cleanliness is very important here, great restaurant and a garden restaurant to dream of. The food was delicious, especially the roast beef. All employees were always friendly and helpful, the boss very accommodating and accommodating. We can only recommend Gerbe and are already looking forward to the next time.

Excellent hotel with friendly service

It's definitely worth the price we payed. Nice indoor pool and great food. We were a group of 15 ppl and they handled everything professionally including the meeting rooms. Location is okay, taxis are always available for going into the city or to the airport.
